Leftover pizza lovers UNITE!
The Daily Meal reported that when compared to each other, a slice of pizza is a more nutritious breakfast option than most breakfast cereals!
The report says;
“It’s got protein. It’s got carbs. It might even have vegetables. That hot slice of cheesy goodness is a balanced breakfast if we’ve ever seen one.”
Registered Dietitian, Chelsey Amer added;
“You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories, However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning.”
Excuse me, ordering 3 xl pizzas so I can have pizza for breakfast, lunch AND dinner!
