Palliser Schools Expect A $2.2-Million Revenue Drop In 2013-2014

LETHBRIDGE - After looking over the provincial budget, Palliser Regional Schools are projecting a decrease in revenue in 2013-2014 of about $2.2 million.

It's the result of projected changes to grant funding and is based on a zero percent increase in salaries for teachers and support staff. As well, a zero percent spending increase related to a collective agreement with the Alberta Teachers Association which has not been negotiated yet.

The projection is based on early estimates of next year's student enrolments.
