Regional Police Ask For Any Possible Information Regarding Sexual Assault Suspect
LETHBRIDGE: An investigation into an early morning sexual assault has police requesting information from the public.
About 4:00 Thursday morning, a 30-year old woman was walking along 6th Street South and had almost reached 6th Avenue South when she was grabbed from behind, forced to the ground and sexually assaulted by an unknown man.
Later in the morning, the woman went to Chinook Regional Hospital and police were contacted at that time.
The suspect is this case is described as an Aboriginal male, about 220-pounds, with long hair. He had no facial hair and was wearing a hoodie, possibly blue in colour, blue jeans and a hat that was worn backwards.
