LETHBRIDGE: A large crowd of mourners turned out in Calgary Friday morning, for the
memorial service for former Premier Ralph Klein.
The public celebration of Klein's life included Prime Minister Stephen
Harper, former prime minister Jean Chretien and Alberta Premier Alison Redford,
former provincial premiers, Roy Romanow (Saskatchewan) and Mike Harris
However, the dignitaries were outnumbered by the general public, who were there to
remember a friend. The main comments of the day from those who attended, "He said what he meant and he meant what he said", as well as, "You could trust him to do what he said he would".
Klein died on Friday, March 29th,at the age of 70
after a battle with dementia and lung disease.

Lethbridge residents can still sign a book of condolence for Klein, at the
Provincial Building at 200 5th Avenue South.
