Case Against Matthew Robillard Set Over Two Weeks

LETHBRIDGE - The public mischief case against Matthew Aaron Robillard has been set over a couple weeks.

The case appeared in court on Monday morning, although Robillard was not personally present. A lawyer set the case over to April 22nd.

Robillard is accused of staging his own abduction on January 31st, to make it look like he was being extorted to cover up a significant financial loss.

On February 2nd around 3:20am, Robillard contacted police and was found at a northeast Calgary hotel.
