Lethbridge: The 6th Annual Coulee Clean Up kicks-off on April 22nd, at the Elizabeth Hall
Wetlands.Staring at noon, participants can meet in the parking lot to pick up
equipment and supplies.
The Coulee Clean up runs until May 12th and asks residents to remove garbage
in our city, in turn, creating awareness on the importance of environmental
protection. Each year, over 450 volunteers take the time to tidy up our environment and keep the City beautiful.
Corporate volunteerism opportunities are available again this year. "Send
your Staff Fridays" will take place April 26th, May 3 and May 10th from 3-5 PM.
There are 90 areas to choose from this year and all ages are welcome. Drop-in dates and locations are available or everyone to join or you may create our own group and participate anytime during the clean-up dates.
The City asks residents to watch for community volunteers in the coulees and near roadways during the three week period.
