Lethbridge: The Lethbridge Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue North, Saturday. City police were contacted by the fire department as the fire appeared to be suspicious.

 

The fire had originated in the back yard in the wooden garbage box. It was primarily localized to the box only. The fire department extinguished the flame.

 

The damage consisted of charred siding of an abandoned home. The total damage to the home is estimated at $3, 000.

 

Police are still investigating the case.
