Prelim Set in Vulcan Sexual Assault Case

LETHBRIDGE: Progress has finally been made in the case against a 20-year old Vulcan man who was first charged in January of 2012.

A date for a preliminary hearing was set Friday morning for Andrew James Gregory, who faces charges of sexual assault for alleged relationships he had with several girls under the age of 16. He's also accused of attempted kidnapping, after a young boy in Vulcan reported being approached and chased by a man in a pickup truck.

Gregory was granted bail on $2,000 cash back in November, after spending almost 10-months in custody. He's now living in Calgary under a curfew.

The prelim goes ahead October 9th at the Lethbridge courthouse.
