Fire Department Unveils New Interactive Map

LETHBRIDGE - The Lethbridge Fire Department has unveiled a new fire incident interactive map to share information with the public.

It plots the calls they respond to and provides a description of the fire and what people can learn from it.

Fire Prevention Officer Mark Hoveling says people are generally surprised to see how many calls they actually respond to.

He adds "Mayor Dodic really stressed the importance of open communication and we just thought it was a great way for people to see where their tax dollars are going with the fire department just by plotting all the calls we go to."
