County of Lethbridge Activates Emergency Operations Centre

 
 

LETHBRIDGE - The County of Lethbridge has activated their Emergency Operations Centre in response to High Steam Advisories and Flood Watches along the Oldman River downstream from the Oldman Dam.

 

As of 8:30 Thursday morning,they estimate the west side of the County received about 75 to 150 millimeters of rain.

 

About 1000 customers in the County are without power including Turin, Iron Springs, and Monarch. Fortis is working to restore power.

 

Trees are also down in Monarch and roads are flooded in various areas of the County.
