LETHBRIDGE: The penny is officially being pulled out of the market place but, Albertans still get a chance to offer their "two-cents" as priorities are outlined for the 2014 Provincial Budget. Eleven open house sessions are being held across the province, including two in south-west region.
An Open House will
be held in Taber on Thursday, October 10th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the
Heritage Inn. The Lethbridge Open House is slated for Friday, October 11th from
1:00 until 3:00 PM at the Lethbridge Lodge.
"This year we're looking at
the next step. Those steps are, what should we do with the money that we're
saving and should alternative financing for public infrastructure be considered
and if so, what options would you suggest." said Communications Officer,
The open houses are open to the public. Anyone who
can't attend can fill out an online survey at:
