ATCO Gas Employees Give A Boost to Salvation Army

 
 

LETHBRIDGE:    The Salvation Army was the reverse recipient of a helping had on Wednesday.

 

ATCO Gas employees, along with the ATCO Gas mascot, Digger the Prairie Dog, were on hand at Galt Gardens, to offer a donation to the Lethbridge Salvation Army, as as part of the company s annual Employees Participating in Communities charitable-giving and fundraising campaign. The employee-led initiative, donates to the charity of their choice, with the company adding to employee donations. The donation came in the form of a $3,100 cheque.

 

The donation will go toward maintaining The Salvation Army's mobile emergency food truck, which plays a critical role in the work done in the community.

 

After the cheque presentation, the emergency food truck was on hand, with ATCO Gas employees serving up hot chocolate and treats to shoppers and others who were in the area of Galt Gardens.
