If you're not worth writing a song about then Taylor Swift isn't interested. That's basically what the superstar told Rolling Stone magazine during her recent New Jersey tour stop on her sold-out Red tour. Taylor said, "I am getting to the point where the only love worth being in is the love worth singing about. And kind of mad love. I think that for me, when you experience something that's worth writing a song about, chances are it's the same kind of intense feeling that someone else has felt, and it has led them to be sitting on a bedroom floor crying, or walking through a crowded room feeling alone or feeling misunderstood by the person who's supposed to know them better than anybody else." Taylor chalks up her popularity to the fact that she's striking a familiar chord with fans through her music. She said, "Those are things that make you feel really alone, and if someone's singing a song about that feeling, then you feel bonded to that person, and I guess that's the only way I can find an explanation why 55,000 people would want to come see me sing."

Usher's five-year-old son Usher Raymond V was hospitalized yesterday (August 6th) after almost drowning in a residential pool. According to TMZ, sources say that the accident happened at around 2pm yesterday (August 6th) in Atlanta. Sources say that the child was playing in the pool with his aunt Rena Oden and saw a toy in the drain. He then dove down to get the toy but his arm got stuck in the drain. His aunt tried to get him out of the pool, but couldn't get his hand out. The maid also dove in, but couldn't get him out either. Two audio visual contractors working in the house came out and finally got him out of the pool. Usher wasn't there at the time. One of the workers administered CPR immediately and the boy was rushed to the hospital. He was reportedly "conscious, alert and breathing." According to the police report, Usher met his son at the hospital. Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster also met them at the hospital.
