BBC has denied reports of Kanye West's outlandish demands when he appeared on Later...with Jools Holland earlier this week. According to The Sun, Kanye reportedly demanded that the staff at the show iron his dressing room carpet. Ye flew to the U.K. to perform his track "Bound 2" on the BBC two show, but he wasn't impressed by the "bumpy" carpet in his dressing room. And apparently, Ye required over half of the 15 dressing rooms that were available at the studio, despite other acts performing that night. However, a BBC spokesperson has told NME that the story is untrue and Ye is "great to work with." The spokesperson said, "This is all utter nonsense. Its wish fulfillment -- people expect stars of his stature to make diva demands, but the truth is Kanye was great to work with."

The NFL has demanded that M.I.A. pay up for her offensive gesture during the 2012 Super Bowl halftime show with Madonna and Nicki Minaj. The Hollywood Reporter has obtained documents that were filed at the American Arbitration Association that indicate that the NFL took legal action against M.I.A. Apparently, the NFL is demanding a payment of $1.5 million, claiming that the act breached her performance contract and harmed their reputation.  MIA's lawyer -- Howard King however, told the site that the NFL's claims are absurd. King said, "Of course, the NFL's claimed reputation for wholesomeness is hilarious. In light of the weekly felonies committed by its stars, the bounties placed by coaches on opposing players, the homophobic and racist comments uttered by its players, the complete disregard for the health of players and the premature deaths that have resulted from same, and the raping of public entities ready to sacrifice public funds to attract teams."

Selena Gomez's visa request for Russia has been denied. E! News has reported that the shows that Selena was supposed to put on have been canceled because the Russian officials turned down her request. The show organizers have cited that Russia's new anti-gay law may be one of reasons for the singer's rejection. John Becker -- who launched a petition on for Selena to stand up for Russia's LGBT community when she was scheduled to perform, told the site, "This cancellation of Selena Gomez's visa shows that the Russian government is sensitive and on the defense, and shows that the pressure from people all around the world and the backlash against these laws is strong. They're afraid to have someone like Selena Gomez come in and potentially use her platform to advance LGBT rights."
