Demi Lovato believes that fellow X Factor judge, Simon Cowell will be "a great dad." Demi told Digital Spy that Simon has a new attitude since he confirmed that he is expecting a child with Laura Silverman. She said, "He's started to be on time, which is really weird. He's a lot more relaxed. He's opening up a lot." When Demi was asked if she will be the godmother to Simon and Laura's child, she replied, "I don't think I'm actually ready to be one by any means, but I think I just want to be able to say, 'He hates that I'm the godmother to his child.'"

Rihanna has finally released the highly anticipated video for her record, "Pour It Up." The video created quite a stir across the internet and fans had various opinions about the clip. One fan took to Twitter and said, "She sitting on a gold throne looking like a cheap hooker. Denim thong, blonde Annie wig and pleather gloves. Jesus."

Lorde may have made the first misstep of her budding career by tangling recently with fans of both Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez. According to Spin, Lorde told New Zealand's Metro, "Taylor Swift is so flawless and so unattainable, and I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls." After getting attacked on Twitter by venomous Swift fanatics, Lorde apologized, saying on her Tumblr page, "She happens to be good looking, but I think she actually uses her other imperfections in an incredibly powerful and relatable way. Taylor Swift has a very unique vision, which I admire." It didn't end there, however. Lorde criticized Gomez in an interview with Rolling Stone, saying, "I'm a feminist and the theme of her song ('Come & Get It') is, 'When you're ready come and get it from me.' I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."

Jessie J has claimed that some popstars aren't very personable behind the scenes because they party too hard. She explained to The Observer that she quit drinking alcohol a year ago and avoids parties so that she can remain professional and focused on her career. Jessie said, "I like my life to be pure and clean and organized, and I like to have had eight hours [of] sleep [at] night. I honestly don't think I'd be as successful if I was a party animal. Because I don't think my personality would be as focused and open as it is." She continued, "I won't mention no names, but I've met artists who are so 'on it' when they're on camera, or on stage, so the audience and the media thinks that they're like that, and then you see them come off stage, and they're mean, they're miserable and they're late." Miley Cyrus has said that she parted ways with Hannah Montana so that she can be herself. In the MTV documentary Miley: The Movement, she said, "I've never been like a normal person, because I had to grow up like so quick, so I can't throw any shade on anything I did as a kid. I have this freedom to do whatever I want because people trust me." She continued, "I need to like let go of, of like a past in a way, because I felt like I could finally be the bad b*tch I really am. I think there's something about watching someone grow up. Most people don't have their kids photos put up for the world."

Celine Dion has offered Britney Spears a few tips for her upcoming Vegas residency. Celine told ET Canada, "She's been on stage, she's shook it all out. She's very talented and knows exactly what to do." Celine went on to say that she hopes that Britney can "find wonderful people who can help her find a balance between the artist that she is and the mother. Try to find an emotional balance and cope with those two and be the best of both worlds, and I think she can really do it."
