A Russian court has fined the organizer of a Lady Gaga show last December
for "propaganda of alcohol consumption and homosexuality." According
to The Hollywood Reporter, a Saint Petersburg-based judge said that
Gaga's show violated a Russian administrative code that was put in place to
enforce the "protection of children from information that could harm their
health and/or development." The plaintiff in the case -- Nadezhda Petrova,
apparently complained that her 13-year-old daughter witnessed an imitation of
sex between two women and was encouraged to drink alcohol.
The wait for Chris Brown fans is almost over. The singer took to Twitter
to announce the release of his free X Files mixtape yesterday
(November 18th), saying, "X files mixtape Tuesday NOV 19th, 5
songs." CB previously promised Team Breezy that because his upcoming
album, X was pushed back, he would release five new tracks for his fans.
He said, "Since we pushed the album back to December 3, on 11-19-13 ima
release 5 new songs just for my fans. Love y’all. These 5 are bangers so y’all

and music producer -- Robert "Shep" Pettibone have won the sampling
lawsuit associated with Madonna's record, "Vogue." According to The
Hollywood Reporter, the original lawsuit was filed back in July by VMG
Salsoul -- the copyright owner for the 1976 composition called "Love
Break." The plaintiff claimed that the "deliberately hidden"
sample was only detected because of new technology. A U.S. District
Court judge in C.A. however, ruled that the sampling of the record was
merely "trivial" and could not be recognized. The court's ruling
said, "Having listened to the sound recordings of 'Chicago Bus Stop,'
'Love Break,' and 'Vogue,' the Court finds that no reasonable audience would
find the sampled portions qualitatively or quantitatively significant in
relation to the infringing work, nor would they recognize the appropriation.
The Court finds that any sampling of the Horn Hit was de minimis or
Timberlake has revealed that at some point he would like
to pursue a career in country music. In a satellite radio interview, Justin
said that his dreams of recording country music are still alive. He explained,
"I just did an interview earlier today and I said 'I'm America, that's
what I am - in all sense of the word.' I grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee,
and I listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock . . .
everything." JT added that he still has his eyes on a Best Country Album
Kelly Clarkson loves one charity so much that she gave the dress off her
back to help. OK, it didn't come straight from her back. But Kelly did give up
the funky black sleeveless dress she wore last year at the American Music
Awards to sing a medley of her pop hits. She donated it to the Hard Rock Cafe
in Nashville -- with the condition that the Hard Rock had to donate $9,000 to
Musicians on Call. That charity arranges for musicians at all levels -- from honky-tonks
to Hollywood -- to go into hospitals to perform for patients. Kelly also did a
fundraiser performance at the Hard Rock last week, and in all, she raised more
than $100,000. It's the single largest events Musicians on Call has ever had.
and Ryan Lewis have announced that they will go on hiatus.
According to XXLMag, their manager Zach Quillen revealed that the two
will embark on a quiet year. He said, "Yeah, we're gonna disappear for a
little while. This album cycle is coming to a close. We’ll go to the Grammys in
January this year and afterwards, kind of call it quits for a bit and take some
time off. The guys are gonna get into the studio next year and see what
happens. But we’re in no rush."
Cyrus has admitted that she's been so busy planning her
upcoming "Bangerz" tour that she's letting her fans choose her next
single. In a radio interview, the singer said, "You know, I don't really know yet. I'm
kinda like, leaving it up to my fans in a way just 'cause I have a tour coming
up and so I wanna focus on everything that I'm doing 120 percent. So right now,
I'm so involved [in] creating this tour - everyday that's been my focus that I
haven't got to focus as much on a next single as much as I would've already
thought. I thought I was gonna keep puttin' 'em out, keep puttin' 'em
out, keep puttin 'em out, but then this tour kind of took over my entire
life. Because, I'm just so excited about going on it. It's something that I'll
be in the states, then I'm gonna go worldwide. So, every decision that I'm
making, I'm gonna be doing this tour for a while, so I wanna make sure that
it's really perfect."
