The judge in Chris Brown's D.C. assault case has
approved his request to not attend the court hearing. TMZ has
reported that Breezy asked the judge to allow him to not attend court
today (November 25th), so that he can stay in inpatient anger management
rehab. Breezy's lawyer, Mark Geragos filed the legal docs
asking the judge for the break. Apparently, D.C. criminal courts require a
defendant to be present, even in misdemeanor cases.
Selena Gomez has given the inside
scoop on her first-ever world tour. The singer told E! News, "It's
my first world tour, so actually being able to experience these places while
I'm there alone, all by myself, it's great. I feel like a big
girl." She then mentioned that once the tour is over, she's going to
focus on acting, saying, "I'm gonna take some time for myself and get back
into movies." Selena later gushed about being a big
sister, adding, "Gracie is five-months-old, she's adorable.
I'm obsessed with her and becoming a big sister . . . I know I've had the
responsibility to be a role model for girls but, when you have a little sister
of your own, you kinda think, 'OK, this is legit.'"
Rumor has it that Niall Horan of One
Direction is set to have his own museum. According to The Sun,
the 1D star reportedly gave his local council permission to set up a tribute in
his honor. The singer's local councillor, Aidan Davitt said,
"Of course we want to honor one of our leading lights. Niall is always
promoting Mullingar around the world and has said it's something he would
support, as did his mother Maura. Fans come here every day
looking for Niall's house - they also go to Tesco looking for his dad Bobby
- so it would be great to have somewhere for them to go." Davitt
added, "Niall would be the star of the show as our most famous son. We
would love to get some of his items to display there for fans, as well as
interactive footage of his performances around the town."
Kanye West has revealed that he has not received
the royalties from his Nike Air Yeezy sneakers. In a D.C.
radio interview, Ye said, "Man, just not making decisions for
myself and making sure I made decisions for my family. Like if it’s for myself,
I would have been cool just sitting in Nike not getting no royalties. Letting
people line up for the Yeezy's and not -- you know. When I’m having
negotiations and then I go and look in my daughter’s eyes and when I go and
negotiate after that I’m like ‘Oh y’all ain’t finna talk to me like that. We
finna get this money right.'" According to the Daily News,
Ye's sneaker collab with Nike that was released back in 2009, followed by
the release of the Air Yeezy 2 sold for as much as $80,000. Reports have
said that Britney Spears' upcoming album, Britney Jean may
have a lukewarm debut. Hits Daily Double has predicted that the album
may sell between 150,000 to 200,000 units in the first week. And apparently,
that isn't very well considering Britney's past debuts.
Shakira has opened up about her
forthcoming album. The singer told Elenco magazine, "I
figured out how to make songs again with attitude, more rock and roll sounding,
the kind of sound I first began experimenting with during the first stage of my
musical career. Of course, evolving and hopefully making progress." She
added, "I am happy with this (new) material. It took me some time to reach
it, with some interruptions, the pregnancy."
Lady Gaga has called her boyfriend,
Chicago Fire star, Taylor Kinney a hidden weirdo. During the singer's interview on The Ellen
DeGeneres Show -- which is set to air today (November 25th), she said,
"Well, he's a hidden weirdo. He is extremely strange, actually, and
we complement each other's weirdness. That's actually one of the first things
he ever said to me. It's a Dr. Seuss quote that you find in
someone else a compatible weirdness. And it was one of the first things he's
said to me. It was so...and you know it's funny. The first time he met me it
was one the set of the 'You & I' video." Gaga continued, "So I've
got these pins sticking out of my head and I'm wearing cork and I got no hair
and I'm bald. And I mean, why he found me attractive just completely behooves
me. And we were in the middle of this scene and I remember that he kissed me
and it wasn't scripted for him to kiss me and I was sort of like was, 'Um, you
know, was that real or was that fake?' And he didn't really say anything and
that was fine by me and we kept filming. And you know, at the end of the day
he's my best friend and having your lover be your best friend. I mean, it's the
best thing ever. It's the best thing I can say about it."
