Minister Louis Farrakhan has showed his support for Kanye West after the rapper was slammed and accused of anti-Semitism earlier this month. During a NYC radio interview, Ye said, "Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People want to say Obama can’t make these moves or he’s not executing. That’s because he ain’t got those connections…Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Black people don’t have the same connections as oil people."

Jessica Simpson is over being bashed about the weight she's gained during her pregnancies. The mother of two told USA Today, "It does get old having people harping on how much you weigh or your body after pregnancy. People are going to pick me apart no matter what I do. I’m always going to have critics out there who will make a story out of something."  Jessica however has used the scrutiny to her advantage and allowed it to motivate her. She continued, "People are going to talk about this no matter what. I might as well choose to live a healthy lifestyle."

Lorde took part in her first-ever Reddit "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) session on Sunday (December 15th), also taking the opportunity to announce a 2014 North American tour that will begin on March 3rd in Austin, Texas and wrap up on March 26th in Oakland, California. Lorde will be on the road in support of her debut album, Pure Heroine, which features the massive crossover rock and pop hit "Royals."

Chris Brown's legal troubles have continued. TMZ has reported that the judge in the Rihanna assault case has revoked Breezy's probation because of his altercation in D.C. back in October. Apparently, the judge felt that the criminal complaint in D.C. was evidence that Breezy did not abide by the laws set for him to follow while on probation.  The judge didn't take Breezy into custody because he was impressed by the singer's progress in anger management rehab. The judge will hold a hearing on the case in February and it is possible that Breezy can face jail time.

Rihanna has given a member of the RiRi Navy some sound advice. Necole Bitchie reported that a fan wrote a private message to RiRi via Twitter saying, "Hey Rih, I hope it’s not a bad time to message. Just been down lately and wondering if you had any words of encouragement. Trust issues with men." She apparently responded to the fan immediately and said, "Anytime I have trust issues, I often assume that it has a lot to do with myself. Most of the time it's difficult to differentiate. Intuition and insecurities! But no one ever wants to wait to figure it out. Whatever we do, we don’t want to feel stupid! So we tend to jump the gun with no evidence to back it up. That's the biggest mistake anyone could ever make."

The director of Britney Spears' latest video, "Perfume" took to Twitter last week to reveal that he actually preferred the director's cut version of the video. Joseph Kahn wrote, "Wish they'd release the director's cut of #perfume. Britney's performance is unbelievable. A true artist in it. Game changer. Maybe if your voice is loud enough they'll release it. But other than that, I just needed to tell the truth. Something amazing is waiting." His tweets caused Brit's fans to create a petition urging the singer's record label to release the director's cut. When the label failed to deliver, the director took matters into his own hands. He then tweeted, "Fine. Here's the director's cut." However, the video didn't feature Britney's original co-star. The clip featured Britney's ex, Justin Timberlake.

As previously reported, it was said that Bey's album was could sell 600,000 copies in the first week.

Justin Timberlake helped one of his fans propose to his girlfriend Sunday night during his show in Louisville. The singer invited Josh and Kim to the stage and said, "Josh called me earlier, he's got something he wants to tell you." Josh then got on one knee and Kim accepted the proposal.
