But we love them anyway, so here's what to do about it...
Clothes...try a Vodka/Water solution - mix one part V with 3 parts warm water in a spray bottle...spritz your clothes & hang to dry in direct sunlight. The Vodka will quickly evaporate & take the stinky campfire smell with it!
Hang your clothes on a shower curtain & fill up your tub with just hot water - get it really good & steamy. Pour in 4 cups of white vinegar & let your clothes bask in the steam for a good 10 mins or so and you should be good to go.
Hair...dry shampoo always works in a pinch...if you don't have any on hand try sprinkling baby powder or baking soda in your hair...give it a good rub through & then brush it out.
If you know you're going to be around a firepit - when you're getting ready beforehand in the shower rinse your hair with Apple Cider Vinegar! Sounds weird right? But apparently apple cider vinegar will keep the smoke smell from clinging to your strands :)
