ALBERTA: Cross-country skiers and snowmobilers are being asked to use extreme caution when heading into the back country.
Sunday an avalanche was triggered a few kilometres south of Castle Mountain by cross-country skiers, and while no one was injured the slide was powerful enough to flatten several large trees and cover an existing snowmobile trail.
