Coutts: A secondary search at the Coutts border crossing on January 9th has lead to
trafficking charges against a couple from Peace River.
After the couple was referred for further examination, Canada Border
Services officers found two-kilograms of cocaine packaged in four-bundles in a
false compartment. Estimated value of the drug is $200,000.
35-year old Jacob Fehr and 34-year old Aganetha Fehr were arrested and
turned over to the RCMP. They have been charged with Importation of a
Controlled Substance and Possession of Controlled Substance for the Purpose of
Trafficking and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court January 31st.
