Fourth Annual Public School Town Hall Meeting Set For February First
Lethbridge: Lethbridge Public school parents may notice the latest District 51 "Report to
the Community" showing -up in thierr mailboxes.
The report is the result of feedback the district received from the last
town hall meeting. It sets out education priorities summarizes the local
education budget. If you haven't received the document, it can be accessed at www.lethsd.ab.ca
The 4th annual Lethbridge School District Town Hall Meeting will be held
Tuesday, February 1 from 6.30 - 8.30 pm at Victoria Park High School (429 - 15
The District Town Hall Meeting has been invaluable over
the past three years in providing students, parents, staff and members of the
community an opportunity for input as the Board of Trustees establishes
priorities for the subsequent school year and for long range plans.
The Superintendent and District trustees will be on hand to answer your
questions. After small group discussion, all those present will be asked to
rank the suggestions proposed using an electronic voting system. This enables
everyone present to know instantly what the thoughts of the large group
All community members are invited to attend the Town Hall Meeting.
