Tickets Remaining for Tiffin Conference Thursday

LETHBRIDGE: Tickets are still available for the Tiffin Conference this Thursday at Lethbridge College.

The event will focus on how producers in the agriculture industry can succeed during volatile times. They will also go over topics of traceability, global cattle markets and even the weather.

Conference Co-ordinator Kathy Waddell explained that it's important for local farmers and ranchers to come out, as it's important to have as much information as possible going forward in the current economic climate.

Waddell added that this conference will also be different from most others you may have attended in the past. She explained that instead of looking at issues like what you should be planting and how you should care for it, they'll look at the "bigger picture" on the issues mentioned earlier.

Tickets can be picked up at either the Enmax Centre or the Yates or by calling 403-329-7328. Students can get theirs at Lethbridge College or by calling 403-320-3323.

The cost of tickets will be $95 individually or $300 for a group of four. Students pay $100 but that will also include the second Tiffin Conference in March.

Waddell did note that while tickets could be sold out by Thursday, if there are any available they will accept walk-ins.
