Provincial Liberals Prepare For Next Session Of The Legislature

Edmonton: The Alberta Legislature doesn't resume sitting until February 22nd but the Official Opposition is preparing now.

According to provincial Liberal leader David Swann, health care will remain the number one issue heading into the next election.  We don't know when that will come but, he is preparing the next session of the Legislature.

Swann has switched around critic responsibilities for some Liberal M-L-A's, while he takes over the Health and Wellness portfolio. As a physician and former medical officer of health, Swann believes his background and experience to offer solutions to health care problems.

Lethbridge-East MLA Bridget Pastoor maintains her critic portfolio which includes Seniors and Community Supports, Municipal affairs, International and Intergovernmental Relations and Agriculture and Rural Development.
