Child's Death Is Deemed "Non Criminal"

Lethbridge:  Regional Police have wrapped up an investigation into the sudden death of a child and determined it was non-criminal.

About 7-pm on September 6th, 2010, a five-year old boy was found unconscious in the wave pool of the Ramada Hotel Waterpark on Mayor Magrath Drive.

Lifeguards pulled the child from the water and began CPR. The boy was transported to the Regional Hospital where further attempts to resuscitate him failed.

A report by the Medical Examiner determined this was not a criminal matter.  No other information will be released.
