Grey Cup To Pay A Visit To Southern Alberta

 
 
Taber-Vauxhall:   One of the most  famous sports trophies in Canada will be in Taber Friday. 

  After visiting a couple of schools in the town, the Grey Cup, will be at the Taber A-T-B from noon until 2:00. It will then be at Johnson Drugs from 2:30 until 5:00. It will next journey to the Taber Safeway from 5:30 to 7:30-pm.

  The Cup will be accompanied by Montreal offensive lineman Jeff Perret who is from Taber and helped his team win the Cup the last 2-years in a row.  Perret played minor league football in southern Alberta, including 2-years of High school football in Taber.

 On Saturday, from 10:00 until 2:00, the cup will be at the Heritage Inn on Highway-3.  From there it heads to Vauxhall for a lobster fest charity fund raiser for cancer.

  Jeff will be at all locations for photos and autograph signing. There is a $5 charge for each picture, with the money going to kids charities in Taber.
