Unsafe Ice Conditions On Lethbridge Lakes

Lethbridge:  The fluctuating temperatures we've had the past week have taken a toll on the ice thickness of local lakes.

The City Parks Department has issued a warning that skating is NOT permitted on Henderson, Nicholas Sheran and Chinook lakes right now.

Parks staff monitor the ice thickness throughout the winter and will let you know when ...or if...it is again safe to skate on city lakes and ponds.
