Woman Assaulted Outside Chinook Regional

 
 

LETHBRIDGE: Police have opened an investigation after a sexual assault in the city Saturday morning.

At about 6 a.m. along 19th St S, a man came and asked a 32-year-old woman sitting in her car for directions.

After a brief talk, he left.

A few minutes later, the man returned and sexually assualted the woman as she walked toward the ER entrance at Chinook Regional Hospital.

The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, about 5"10, wearing glasses, a light-coloured toque and a dark puffy coat.

Police ask you to call them or crime-stoppers if you have more information.
