$132-million in Funding Coming to Chinook Regional Hospital
LETHBRIDGE: The provincial government is sending $132-million our way.
New cabinet minister Greg Weadick stated that the money will be going into the Chinook Regional Hospital. $10-million will be used to add more space for day procedures where the old cancer centre was located, while the other $122-million will go towards upgrading areas like the emergency room.
Weadick added that work on the new day procedure space could begin right away.
