TABER: A trial date's been set for 46-year old Joseph Bradley Singleton, the man charged with assault and assault with weapon, after finding his home broken into back in May.

He allegedly struck one of the men in the face with a hatchet as he tried to leave the scene.

The trial will run from June 8th to the 10th in Taber Provincial Court.
