Collision Near Lundbreck Claims Life Of Pincher Creek Man
Lundbreck: A two-vehicle collision west of Lundbreck at about 8:45 Wednesday morning
claimed the life of a Pincher Creek man.
The collision happened just west of the Crowsnest River, at the bottom of
the Lundbreck hill. A witness indicates an east-bound S-U-V lost control
and spun across the lane, where it collided with a west-bound truck.
The truck driver, 53-year old Allen Williams, died at the scene. The driver of the S-U-V
was treated for non life threatening injuries at Pincher Creek Hospital and
RCMP report that area of Highway-3 was in poor condition with rough packed
ice and snow at the time of the collision. Traffic was held up for
two-and-a-half hours while police conducted an initial investigation. That
