Spotlight: Local Group Gives Women A Financial "Hand Up"
LETHBRIDGE: A community group is helping local women convert their money woes into successes.
After their core federal funding was cut last year, the support centre Womanspace has used community fundraising and a grant from a corporate bank to keep their financial literacy program running. This is the first year Womanspace has run this many sessions. They're also expanding to include immigrant women's groups - offering an interpreter service for the first time.
