Accused in Regional Police Officer Beating Appears in Court

LETHBRIDGE: 24-year old Aaron Head appeared in court Thursday morning, for his alleged part in the vicious beating of a Regional Police officer February 23rd.

He had his case put over to March 31st, matching him up again with co-accused Raymond Asham.

It's alleged that the two attacked Constable Norman Smith as he was trying to arrest one of them on an outstanding warrant.

The assault left Smith in hospital for several days, suffering from bleeding on the brain and a broken nose.
