LETHBRIDGE/COALDALE: With water levels in ditches and farmers fields already building up and flooding issues throughout the region, some are starting to fear another very wet spring.
Alvin Reinhard Fritz Architect is working on a development plan for the Lethbridge-Coaldale Corridor, and wants to make sure flooding isn't an issue down the road.
Al Fritz noted that one of the ideas is to create a "linear wetland", which would retain storm water. They would also put a bicycle path along it, and even include a fish pond.
Fritz added that those are just a few of the ideas they're working on, and that they would like to hear any thoughts you may have.
