Man Beats Possible Intruder With Baseball Bat

LETHBRIDGE: Charges have been laid after one man went on the defensive when his home was compromised.

Early Saturday morning, in the 500 block of 7th Street S, regional police were called after the window of a building was damaged.

One of the residents then came outside with a baseball bat and repeatedly beat the man who caused the damage.

William Alan Rhodes, 22, of Lethbridge is charged with assault and weapon-related offenses.

A 21-year-old Taber man, Shane Desmond Journoud, is charged with mischief.
