Police Charge Suspected Scammer

LETHBRIDGE: Police have charged a woman in connection with several door-to-door scam cases in the past two weeks.

Homeowners have complained of a woman going house to house, telling residents she needs money for gas to go pick up her children out of town.

Lethbridge resident Jenna Phillips, 24, is charged with two counts of attempted fraud and one count of fraud.

She's scheduled to appear in court April 26.

Regional police say the investigation is ongoing.
