Lethbridge Transit Driver Assaulted

Lethbridge:   A 40-year old city transit driver suffered minor injuries in an assault Tuesday night.  Just after 11:00, in the 600-block of 4th avenue south, the driver refused service to a man who was being belligerent to  another transit driver.

The culprit started to walk away but returned and punched the driver in the face. The suspect is a black male, about 5-foot-9, with a medium build and brush cut hair.  He was wearing a white and red sweater.

If you have information Regional Police want to hear from you.
