Sexual Assault Case Results In Prison Sentence

Lethbridge: The repeated sexual assault of teenage girl has resulted in a two-year prison sentence for a 32-year old man of no-fixed address.

While the victim didn't report the case until last fall in another jurisdiction, a Regional police investigation determined the assaults happened between August and November of 2009, when the girl was 15.

Chauncey Neil Paul Crop-Eared Wolf pleaded guilty in Lethbridge Court and was sentenced Thursday to spend the prison sentence in Bowden.  He is required to submiet a DNA sample and will be on the  sexual offender registry for 20 years. Charges were stayed relating to weapons offences and making threats of death and bodily harm
