Cardston Pedestrian Fatality

 
 
Cardston:  A vehicle/pedestrian collision in Cardston Wednesday evening claimed the life of a 72-year old Cardston woman.

    At about 7 o'clock, the woman was crossing main street when she was struck by a south-bound 2010 Honda Civic driven by a 75-year old man. The driver, also from Cardston, was not injured. 

   The woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to Cardston hospital, then transferred to the Regional hospital in Lethbridge.  From there, she was flown by STARS to Calgary where she later died.

  No name has been released.  Cardston RCMP cotninue to investigate but state alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
