EDL Lunch Aimed at Preparing Local Businesses for the Future
LETHBRIDGE: Tickets are still available for the 2011 Economic Trends and Forecast Luncheon June 1st.
Economic Development Chief Executive Officer Cheryl Dick and best selling author and technology forecaster Leonard Brody will be speaking at the event.
It's aimed at helping local businesses prepare for the economic future of our city.
Dick explained that the information and technology sectors are going to be a big part of Lethbridge down the road, and that businesses need to be ready to take advantage of the changing economic landscape.
The 2011 Economic Trends and Forecast Luncheon runs from 11:30-am to 2-pm and costs $60 per person. Those who buy their tickets before April 29th will have a chance to win two free tickets.
