High School Paddler Sentenced

LETHBRIDGE: A 17-year old boy who admitted to striking another teen with a two-by-four as part of a hazing ritual was sentenced in youth court Wednesday.

The teen, who can't be named because of his age, received a sentence of one year probation and 40-hours of community service.

He entered a guilty plea to the charge of assault with a weapon last month, for the incident which happened back in July.
