LETHBRIDGE: There will be a slight delay in the case against a Lethbridge man, who's accused of being part of an international weapons smuggling operation.
Thursday morning 26-year old Shawn Aaron Locke stated that he wanted to hire new council to represent him, and the case was put over to May 3rd.
Locke was arrested in Canada, while 28-year old Harley Clifford Combres and 23-year old Caley Dawn Sinclair were arrested in Montana on March 27th.
In Billings, Montana Federal court on Wednesday, Combres entered a plea of not guilty to attempted illegal export, concealing items for illegal export and being an illegal alien in possession of firearms.
Sinclair still has not appeared for her arraignment.
The trio is accused of purchasing firearms in the United States and then bringing them back to Canada to sell.
