Driving Off in Golf Cart Gets Lethbridge Man Fine and Driving Suspension

LETHBRIDGE: Colin Patrick White avoided a trial Monday, by entering a guilty plea to a charge of Careless Driving.

He admitted to an incident June 23rd, where he and another man drove off the Paradise Canyon Golf Club in one of the golf carts and got it stuck in a ditch in a residential area.

Charges of impaired driving, dangerous driving and theft were all dropped.

White will now have to pay a $1,000 fine and his drivers licence has been suspended for 45-days.
