LETHBRIDGE: Aggie Days runs Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, as Exhibition Park decided to move the kid friendly event from February into May.
The event's free to attend and is aimed at showing people of all ages how the agriculture industry works and where their food comes from.
The event, which is entering its fifth year, will be held in May instead of February for a couple of reasons. Doug Kryzanowski with Exhibition Park explained first off that Aggie Days and Ag-Expo were too close to each other before, and meant they couldn't put as much effort into either event.
Kryzanowski also noted that with the weather generally being warmer, it should help get people to come and check it out.
Students who come out as part of a school group will be entered into a draw for one of two RESP's valued at $1,000. They're provided by Exhibtion Park and UFA.
One other change to note for this years Aggie Days, is that it will move from the North Pavilion at Exhibition Park to the South Pavilion.
The event runs both Tuesday and Wednesday (May 10th and 11th) from 9-am to 3-pm.
