Medicine Stone Stolen From Fort Whoop-Up

 
 

LETHBRIDGE: Your help is needed as Regional Police and the Fort Whoop-Up Interpretive Centre search for the Medicine Stone.

The sacred Blackfoot artifact was taken from its place beside Fort Whoop-Up, sometime between 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and noon on Thursday.

The Medicine Stone stands about three-feet high and weighs between 600 to 1000-pounds.

If you have any idea where it may be you're asked to contact Regional Police.
