County Of Lethbridge Warns Of Road Wash Outs

COUNTY OF LETHBRIDGE:  Effective immediately, the County of Lethbridge advises that due to continued rainfall, some roads in the County have washed over.

Where roads have not been barricaded, please take EXTREME CAUTION, as vehicles have been stuck in soft spots and frost boils. In addition, the County’s gravel roads are currently in very poor condition as a result of winter frost damage and excess moisture.

Heavy trucks should limit road use to the traffic that is essential to maintain feeding and dairy operations.

ALL trucks should obey the current Road Ban Weight Restrictions in an effort to reduce further damage on the roads.

For further information please contact the County of Lethbridge at 403-328-5525.
