Barons School Receives $28,000 Grant

BARONS: Barons School has received a $28,000 grant from the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation to support literacy.

The money will be issued over three-years and go towards developing a library at the Barons School, which caters to Alberta's Low German Mennonite community.

The 126 students attending the school are learning English as their second language.

The grant provides opportunities for children who may face cultural, language or other barriers to learning. For more information on the grant you can visit www.loveofreading.org.
