Law Enforcement Ride For Special Olympics

LETHBRIDGE - A group of Provincial Sheriffs, RCMP and Regional Police officers based out of Lethbridge are riding their bicycles up to Edmonton on Friday.

There doing it to help raise money to support Special Olympic athletes in Alberta.

Sheriff and Ride Coordinator Gord Ryall says part of the money will go to travel.  For example, this year, the Olympics are being held in Greece.

The group of 18 riders were hoping to raise 30-thousand dollars by the end of the week.

To help them out you can drop a donation off at the Regional Police or RCMP stations, as well as the city courthouse.
