LETHBRIDGE: A federal inmate will be released Thursday and he's heading to Lethbridge.
Regional Police are warning that 33-year-old Charleton Earnest Cutts will be released from the Bowden Institution Thursday, after serving four years for sexual assault with a weapon, for an incident which took place in Brooks. Cutts will be residing in the Varsity Village area of west Lethbridge. Information in his file indicates he is a significant risk to re-offend and poses a risk of significant harm to the community, in particular women.
The police urge the public to take suitable precautionary measures and not to embark on any form of vigilante justice. Cutts must abide by a number of conditions including a curfew; he must abstain from the use of drugs, and is prohibited from possessing any pornographic material.
