Regional Police Charge Lethbridge Man in Real Estate Fraud Case

LETHBRIDGE: Regional Police have charged a 27-year old man with fraud and impersonating a police officer.

Between April of 2010 and this past July, Christopher Michael Burke is accused of contacting five people in regard to real estate investment opportunities in Canada and the US and then taking the money they invested for his own gain.

In one case it's also alleged that he told a victim that he was a police officer and provided a fake police ID.

Burke will make his first court appearance August 24th.
